25 Jan Winter Forest
Paul and I are so fortunate to live within walking distance of a wooded conservation area with gorgeous walking trails. Since we got our dog, Navi, we’ve come out to the trails on a regular basis. Navi loves the snow and it is very entertaining to watch her leap in the deep snow and eat the snowballs off her fur. I love it because not only does it get me out walking, but that time in nature is a perfect way for me to collect my thoughts and get inspired. January has brought a massive amount of snow already and we have some more in the forecast. Paul and I have even been able to snowshoe with some of the snow we had. My morning routine for the past couple of weeks has involved walking Navi in the snowy forest rather than the slushy, salted roads.
Here’s a little glimpse into our January on the trails!
I used the second photo above in a winter-themed dog photo contest and Navi won 2nd prize!
A snowy doodle means a happy doodle, but also a very messy one once she gets inside. Just look at those snowballs!
