Simple Things

Simple Things

One of my fondest memories of Christmas is doing all of the prep work with my family. We’d put on our favourite Christmas playlists and dance and sing along while trimming the tree or baking Christmas cookies. This year has been a little bit different as Paul and I adjust to it being the two of us. I’m excited to see what kinds of traditions we keep and create over the years.

Paul will be working nights over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day this year. This means Navi and I will be spending those special days together. We’ll be cuddling up after our evening walks to watch Christmas movies. As soon as Paul’s done with his shifts we will be travelling ‘home’ for a three day spree of family get togethers. It will be busy but so worth it. Nothing can beat getting together with family on the holidays! We have a few days after our family commitments which I’m hoping I can squeeze in some time to relax and to see some of my good friends who are also in the area.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday with loved ones, family and friends!

Navi was not interested in baking at all!
