This is the second Christmas in our house, but the first one where we have been here for a full December. Last year we moved in on the 20th of December and hurriedly put up a nearly ‘ornament-less’ tree in the midst of boxes in order to have our family visit for Christmas. This year we’ve been able to relax and decorate more than just our tree. I’ve had the pleasure of decorating our house for the holidays inside and out over the past couple of weeks.
Now that Navi is over 4 months old and has all of her shots, we’ve been able to spoil her on our days off with trips downtown and to the dog park. She is a fairly shy puppy so we are socializing her as much as we can and we have already noticed a huge difference in her personality. Lately she and I have been going for nighttime walks to see the pretty Christmas lights on the houses in our neighbourhood.
December is always a busy month and usually flies by before we know it, so we’re trying to sit back and enjoy it as much as we can.
