Good things rarely come from within a comfort zone. This quote by Mark Twain really emphasizes this with the quote below. I especially like the phrase “sail away from the safe harbour.” I am a huge homebody so this quote really speaks to me.
P and I are heading out this week for a 5 day outback camping trip to Algonquin Provincial Park. Our site is a three hour canoe/portage trip into the park. He and his brothers have been making yearly camping trips for a long time and this is the first time I will be able to join in. Now, I am not a camper. My family and I never had great luck camping while I was growing up so I’ve taken a long break from it. I am very nervous to go because it will be a huge leap from my comfort zone. After hearing such great things from P and others who have gone, I am excited. Mostly, I’m excited to take a long and much needed break from technology and to take lots of awesome nature photos!
Word Art Wednesday is a series on my blog providing weekly inspiration, happiness and encouragement. Most of the word art seen here is available as prints through my Etsy Shop. My work is also featured at lifestyle blog This Busy Life.
