Travel Diaries: Ottawa and Quebec City 2014

Since we got married at the very beginning of summer and neither of us were keen on the idea of ‘going south,’ P and I decided to stay in Canada for our honeymoon. After tossing around a few location ideas, we settled on honeymooning in Old Quebec City. On our way through, we took a detour to Ottawa in order to spend Canada Day in the Nation’s capital. Rather than lounging and relaxing, we saw every day as and adventure and explored to our heart’s content. Old Quebec is such a beautiful part of the city with such friendly locals and delicious food. We could have stayed for a whole month and had a different restaurant to choose from each night.
