Word Art Wednesday #116: Follow your Dreams

Word Art Wednesday #116: Follow your Dreams

I just finished reading The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen in which one of the main characters limited herself by not following her dreams. She had dreams and wanted so desperately to follow them, but couldn’t bring herself to do them because she was too afraid of failure.

“Happiness meant taking risks. No one had ever told Paxton that before. It was like a secret the world had been keeping from her… The fact that all the changed she’d made in the past few days scared her to death and that was a good sign” (242).

Following your dreams might be scary and unnerving, but it is so rewarding in the end. I’ve always loved the quote “If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough.” This sums up Paxton’s fear of her dreams perfectly. What dreams do you have that are scaring you today?rdprints | word art wednesday

I have so many dreams. I hope I get to realize them all. Time waits for no man, so I best get on with them.
