The Perfect Snowfall

The Perfect Snowfall

I love the first snowfall, and I usually run out with my camera to capture the first few flakes which fall on the remaining autumn leaves. This year, I missed it. Ever since then, I’ve been waiting for what I like to call “the perfect snowfall.”

We get a lot of snow where I live. I mean, a lot. And sometimes it’s not all that pretty, with slush, dirty snow from the plow, and of course accidents.

But every once in a while, the wind ceases and the snow gathers into large groups of flakes and lands on every tree branch. This makes the outdoors look so magical and inviting. It really is a winter wonderland and brings me so much joy. Today, I woke up to that magical moment, and so before I headed off to work, I ran out to quickly snap some photos of the snow.

And now I can’t wait for the next perfect snowfall because I know just the place to go for photos!
